Danios be the great option as fish for small tanks. Pea puffer fish also known as the dwarf puffer fish is a freshwater fish that originates from india. Due to their small size zebra danios can survive in tanks as small as 5 gallons but since they are a community fish and they can seem hyperactive at times they are better suited to larger busier aquariums. They are content in small tanks and are not desperate for additional room to roam.
They are a little hardier than most of the other fish listed here but don t let that convince you that tank management doesn t matter. These whiskered bottom dwelling fish are hardy cute and for the most part inactive. They have unique bright horizontal stripes that make them noticeable. You ll still want to keep the water clean and ensure your fish have the best possible living situation.
Zebra danio is very active and playful fish. Hara jerdoni is a freshwater fish were originally found in india. They eat almost anything. They only grow to up to 2 5 cm so they are a small type of fish that are ideal for smaller tanks they need at least a 40 cm swimming space so it is advisable not to put more than one pea puffer into your nano tank.
