My Husband Treats Me Like A Child

It has been a roller coaster ride from talking to pastors and counselors reading books etc.

He controls the money and gives you an allowance. My wife encourages me and lets me know how much she appreciates the things i do for our family and i do the same for her blogger selena mills wrote that treating her husband like a child was the one thing i stopped doing to improve my marriage but that it was easier said than done oh it s hard. This is especially true if the person treating you like a child is your husband. He has allowed me to get three more cats plus the one i had when we met. My husband treats me like a child no matter what i try and do he doesnt stop.

He is 8 5 years older than me but we know other couples with large age differences and they treat each other as equals and with respect. Im sick of it. He doesn t like that i keep my phone in the portuguese language so he nags me to change it to english so that he can understand it when he wants to fix something for me like hook up bluetooth and show. Four years ago i started asserting myself and drawing boundaries.

He always thinks he knows best for me he usually does and it s helpful but sometimes he can treat me like a child. It heavily skews the power in the relationship to the person who is acting in a controlling way. Should i show him where the door is. Sometimes i feel myself disappearing with him.

In fact you may wonder how to get him to stop. Like a child and he was the angry parent. A person who treats their partner like a child is one such unhealthy dynamic. My husband treated me this way for years.
