However poultry and white meats like pork are also high in the uric acid so it is best to keep your intake of meats and wild meat to an overall minimum. High uric acid levels can lead to arthritis and gout which is both painful and uncomfortable. It s recommended that you limit high fat foods such as ice cream fried foods and full fat salad dressings.
