Fear of being watched by a duck a person suffering from anatidaephobia knows that his fear for ducks is irrational but then too the fear is so intense and fixed in his mind that the sight of duck or swan makes him anxious leading to various symptoms. While this sounds like something that someone could be scared of this is actually a fictional phobia that was made up for a cartoon comic by gary larson in his far side cartoons. They believe that somewhere in the world there is a duck that is watching them nonstop around the clock. Anatidaephobia is the irrational fear that one is constantly being watched by a duck.

Someone suffering from anatidaephobia may find the mere thought of a duck watching them to be immensely anxiety provoking to the point to where they may even experience full blown panic attacks.
One such non credible specific phobia is anatidaephobia or the irrational fear that a person is being watched by a duck. While normal people might smile or laugh at the thought of being scared by a duck to an anatidaephobic this fear is persistent and weighs constantly on the mind. A person with this rare phobia fears that somehow somewhere a duck is watching their every move.
