Failed To Transfer Logged Messages Status 50

This is often due to improper handling of the computer.
However at times while running the chkdsk scan users get the following message. Know the reason why chkdsk fails to transfer logged messages to the event log with status 50 in windows 7 8 10 xp vista and how to solve the issue. Failed to transfer logged messages to the event log with status 50 error message usually appears due to three reasons. Failed to transfer logged messages to the log event with status 50.
One good way of keeping a check on the status of the hard disk and backing up data on time is using the chkdsk command line. There are corruptions or bad sectors both logical bad sectors and physical bad sectors in windows partition. There are many ways to clean the read only attribute on your disk to run chkdsk successfully. So the log messages cannot be written to the disk.
And even worse this means there is mechanical damage to the hard drive. Your disk or partition is set as read only. This would explain why chkdsk was unable to write logs. If the first two options didn t work you might want to check the physical status of your hard disk or external drive as the problem could root from there.

For me this occurred when i ran chkdsk from the system recovery console which runs from a read only ram disk. Failed to transfer logged messages to the log event with status 50 according to security experts this error is most likely due to the hard drive or ram being in a read only state.
