Everything Doesn T Happen For A Reason

Terrible things do not happen for reasons we can understand or even accept.

They are not part of god s plan. They just happen because things just happen. Maybe a god maybe a spirit maybe a demon or an angel. Certainly for most of human history people have believed everything happened for a reason.

It doesn t have to be scary you can take this as a way to move on in the most raw way a person can. I emerge from this conversation dumbfounded. Romans 8 28 which says and we know that in all things god works for the good of those who love him who have been called according to his purpose. To be honest trying to sort out why things happen isn t really important though many of us have spent years dwelling on it.

We do have control over certain events but for those in which we don t we can at least adjust the sails. I m listening to a man tell a story. But that doesn t mean. I ve seen this a million times before but it still gets me every time.

I briefly want to point out that although not everything happens for a reason god can still use any bad situation and turn it into good but even that doesn t automatically happen. Everything doesn t happen for a reason. It was all her fault. The truth is that the reason bad things happen isn t somehow baked into our life s trajectory.

Most of us just spend time trying to find someone or something to blame which improves nothing. No rhyme or reason. A woman he knows was in a devastating car accident. If we follow god s lead our work is to push back the darkness.
